“Painting Beauty,” on Time Warner cable television channel 19 on Feb. 3, featured my art and my being interviewed by Jeannette Maxwell whose production company created the program. My art, presented at my La Jolla (CA) studio and at the production studio, showed the wide range of the work I do. We hope to present the program in other venues and will let you know when and where in this column. |

I am one of 200 artists featured in the new book “Best of America Oil Artists & Artisans Vol. II” The book is published by Kennedy Publishing of Williamsburg, VA, noted for their books on art and cultural matters. “We were honored and thrilled to [include] your works . . . in the . . . book,” the publishers said. “We are excited to include your wonderful work – the group of artists that have been assembled for this book is extraordinary.” Three pieces of my work appear: Cleaning Up II and Market Place: Campo di Fiori, both of which feature workers in a market place in Rome, Italy, and Night Dreams, one of the my paintings about the moods of women.
